Peter Cogan
Peter Cogan is Managing Partner, Financial Services Industry, and responsible for the strategic growth of the Financial Services practice, including the addition of complementary services and any needed capabilities. He is also the leader of the firm's Financial Services Audit and Assurance Services practice, a Director of the Cayman Islands office, and a member of the firm's Executive Committee, as well as Chairman of the Board of EisnerAmper Global.
Peter has more than 30 years of audit, tax and advisory experience. Prior to his current role, he served as Audit Partner for several of the firm's largest hedge and private equity fund clients. He has also represented clients as an outsourced private equity fund CFO through the firm's fund administration practice.
Peter speaks frequently before professional audiences and the media and is co-author of "Auditing a Private Equity Fund" published in Private Equity International's The US Private Equity Fund Compliance Companion. In addition, he helps lead training programs for the firm's financial services staff.

Hiren Modi
Hiren Modi is the Partner-in-Charge of the San Francisco office as well as our offices in India. He is a member of the Financial Services Group and an Executive Committee member at Eisner Advisory Group. With 25 years of expertise in all areas of accounting and auditing, Hiren serves a substantial number of broker-dealers, domestic and offshore investment funds, real estate funds, and technology companies.
Hiren was the founder for the India operations. His areas of focus include advising other firms and companies regarding set-up and management of their India captive operations.
Hiren's previous experience includes serving as a Staff Accountant and later a supervisor at a regional accounting firm in India, where he was involved in the audits of large domestic and foreign publicly traded companies, local mutual funds, and stockbrokers.
Hiren is a frequent speaker on investment fund speaking circuits and India captive operations circuits.
